Implementation Consultant


The role of the Implementation Consultant is to ensure successful implementation of our market leading Smartflow Software solution for packaging product lifecycle management. The role requires that the candidate is able to lead scoping / requirements workshops with clients across a diverse group of stakeholders. This candidate must have excellent communication and client management skills in order to maintain positive client relations. This candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment. They must possess initiative to produce improvement initiatives both internally and with clients.

The primary responsibility of the Implementation Consultant is to lead successful implementations, meeting timelines and budget requirements. The Implementation Consultant coordinates and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans and communicates status to Senior Management and  Clients as needed. Additionally, the manager often works with clients and will need to travel on-site to client meetings. Ensuring the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements is another responsibility. The Implementation Manager will be responsible for managing multiple client projects at one time. They will also be responsible for participating in internal projects as needed. This role is responsible for scope management, change management, estimating impacts of scope change (timeline and cost) as well as managing project resources

Key Responsibilities

–          Understand and analyse complex business processes associated with new product introductions (from concept to launch)

–          Conduct scoping & discovery workshops with multiple stakeholders

–          Map and align clients business processes into our Smartflow application

–          Configure Smartflow & present back to client their processes

–          Ability to challenge the current processes to seek improvements & better ways of working

–          Ability to manage change across multiple stakeholders and departments

–          Training on client Smartflow configuration

–          3 years + experience of similar business process mapping / re-engineering

–          3 years + medium to large scale software implementation projects

–          Degree Educated

–          General IT Skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)

Travel – Circa 30% of time travelling to client sites (Europe / US / Asia)

Salary – to be agreed
