The CMYK colour model (process colour, four colour) is a subtractive colour model, used in colour printing, and is also used to describe the printing process itself. When the same software infrastructure and architecture is applied across all deployments but can deliver specific individual requirements without the need to write specific code (customized). A configurable solution, such as Smartflow, is easy to implement and deploy out of the box.
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)

Software that is specifically coded for each Client deployment. A customized approach results in higher costs, higher complexity, less flexibility and reliability.
Gap Systems have a quarterly optional upgrade of Smartflow with point releases in between.
Fair Use Licensing Policy
Our ‘Fair User Licensing Policy’ allows an unlimited amount of Users to be assigned to Smartflow. Smartflow is designed to be a collaborative tool to be used by all the internal departments but also external supply chain partners and Customers that are within the project scope irrespective of frequency of use.

The repetition of a process e.g. an artwork usually goes through a number of approval iterations/ cycles and is amended before it has a final approval status.
Java is a set of several computer software products and specifications from Oracle Corporation that provides a system for developing application software and deploying it in a cross platform computing environment (Source:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java). Many corporate IT environments restrict the use of Java within their IT infrastructure. Smartflow and DaVinci DO NOT require Java technology.
Key Performance Indicators are defined by an organization for reporting purposes to measure success and identify areas that require improvement.
Marketing Resource Management (MRM)

The complete process of bringing product to market from ideation to launch.

Software with features and functionality that work immediately without the need for customization or modification.
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to launch. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
The section in the service contract where a service is formally defined e.g Gap Systems Software Services Agreement, as standard, has many performance SLA criteria based around maintenance, response and technical support services.

Spot Colour Density
A Spot Colour is any colour generated by an ink (pure or mixed) that is printed. DaVinci technology provides the functionality to check colour density of a print ready file as standard.
